John has been a practising Sydney solicitor for 30 years, and for the past 20 a sole practitioner and the principal at JFMLAW. His main focus is employment law, advising small to medium-sized firms and their employees of their rights and obligations.

Sladjana Skoric
SLADJANA SKORIC

Sladjana is a solicitor who draws upon her own expertise in human resources in order to assist employers and employees. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce with a major in Industrial Relations and Human Resources, Sladjana works closely and collaboratively with clients to solve their complex and often sensitive workplace issues.

Sladjana regularly utilises her experience in human resources, by assisting employers and employees on negotiated exits, the termination and redundancy of employees, statutory entitlements under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and Modern Awards. Sladjana is also experienced in drafting appropriate and succinct employment contracts that are tailored to the individual and practical needs of the industries of her clients.

Mariam Chalak
MARIAM CHALAK

Mariam is a solicitor at JFMLAW and has a depth of experience in helping different stakeholders manage the complexities that arise from strata and company title law.

Mariam is also experienced in employment law, working collaboratively with employees and employers to resolve various workplace issues. Mariam holds a combined Bachelor of Laws and Business (Accounting) from the University of Technology, Sydney.

THOMAS DU

Thomas graduated with a Bachelor Business (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Thomas works with John in variety of employment matters and assisted John to develop ‘Rapid Human Resources’, a cost effective, legally compliant and proactive partner that assists businesses solve workplace problems and to grow in size and wealth.

Thomas also enjoys drawing upon his Business (Finance) degree, assisting John in calculating underpayments on behalf of clients.

Jordan Lee
JORDAN LEE

Jordan is in the final stages of a Bachelor of Arts (History) and Law at the University of New South Wales and has been with JFMLAW for several years.

Jordan is experienced in resolving workplace disputes and enjoys assisting employers and employees of large organisations, with a particular emphasis on drafting robust and comprehensive deeds of release governing negotiated exits, understanding the long service leave entitlements of employees, and dispute resolution processes and investigations under major enterprise agreements in varied industries.

Jordan is also experienced in commercial and estate litigation, working closely with John on a wide range of complex and significant disputes that are before the NSW and Federal Courts.
